A Powerful Collaboration Between İTÜ ARI Teknokent, Marketing Türkiye, and Deloitte Academy
AI LAB Launches – Designed Specifically for Business Professionals
İTÜ ARI Teknokent, Marketing Türkiye, Deloitte Academy, and ITU Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Application and Research Center have joined forces to launch a next-generation artificial intelligence training program tailored for professionals. Scheduled to begin on October 24, the AI LAB program aims to provide in-depth knowledge on a wide spectrum of topics ranging from generative AI to ethics and security, from strategic transformation to customized solutions for organizations. Specially designed for professionals, the program consists of two training segments: “AI LAB,” targeting practitioners within companies, and “AI Leaders LAB,” offering solutions for C-level executives.
This collaboration marks a first of its kind, combining academic expertise with industry experience to initiate a professional-focused, cutting-edge AI education program. Commencing on October 24, the program comprises two main segments—AI LAB and AI Leaders LAB. Participants will have the opportunity to gain comprehensive insights from theory to practice in areas such as generative AI, strategic transformation, and organization-specific AI applications. The program’s instructors will include experts from Deloitte Academy, global players in the tech industry, and faculty members and researchers from ITU’s AI and Data Science Research Center.
30-Hour Intensive AI Training Program
Hosted by İTÜ ARI Teknokent, the “AI LAB” program is tailored for professionals who want to explore how to integrate AI into their careers and avoid falling behind. The 5-day program, consisting of 10 modules, offers a total of 30 hours of intensive training. Participants will gain knowledge on various topics including AI fundamentals, generative AI applications, marketing use cases, and ethical and security issues. Meanwhile, the AI Leaders LAB focuses on strategic AI applications to support leaders in driving transformation within their organizations. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive an AI LAB certification.
“We Aim to Be the Hub of Transformation”
Prof. Attila Dikbaş, General Manager of İTÜ ARI Teknokent, stated:
“At İTÜ ARI Teknokent, we see ourselves not just as a technology development zone but also as a hub of knowledge, innovation, and transformation. AI LAB, which we launched in collaboration with Marketing Türkiye and Deloitte Academy, is one of the clearest examples of this vision. AI is no longer just a technical field; it has become a cornerstone that transforms every function of business—from decision-making and customer experience to production and governance. With this program, we aim to equip professionals not only with technical knowledge but also with the strategic perspective needed to manage this transformation. Supported by ITU’s 250-year academic legacy and the scientific strength of the AI and Data Science Research Center, AI LAB blends academic and industry experience. This allows participants to combine theoretical knowledge with practical application and prepare for the future of business. At İTÜ ARI Teknokent, we see it as our responsibility to help cultivate leaders who will shape Turkey’s AI ecosystem. AI LAB will empower not only individuals but also institutions with sustainable transformation capacity. For anyone who doesn’t want to be left behind in the age of technology, this program is a powerful opportunity to understand today and shape tomorrow.”
“AI LAB Is a Great Opportunity for Those Who Want to Be Part of the Future!”
Günseli Özen, Editor-in-Chief of Marketing Türkiye, emphasized the transformative power of AI in the business world:
“AI is not just a trend; it’s a reality that will be present in every function, everywhere. No matter what sector or job we’re in, we will experience a future shaped—and even dictated—by AI. Resisting this shift is not an option, and our capabilities to counter it are limited. Instead of resisting the inevitable, we must be ready to shape the future together. If a future powered by AI awaits us, we must recalibrate our competencies accordingly. Only then can we shape that future with AI. At Marketing Türkiye, we are taking responsibility based on the fact that the skills deemed sufficient today won’t be enough to ensure career continuity tomorrow. In partnership with Deloitte Academy and with the expanded reach through İTÜ ARI Teknokent and the pioneering approach of ITU academics, AI LAB will open its doors four times a year to professionals in the business world. The first semester launches in September. We see AI LAB as a golden opportunity for those currently in the workforce. Our priority is preparing the business world for the future. We strongly believe every business function must take action toward integrating AI. Everyone who envisions themselves in the future should seize this opportunity.”
“AI Now Sets Higher Expectations in Business”
Hakan Göl, Technology and Transformation Services Leader at Deloitte Turkey, shared:
“As AI increasingly becomes part of our daily lives, it’s pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and raising expectations in the workplace. That’s why we’re launching this program—to help professionals add AI to their toolbox. AI is no longer just a magical tool for developers and technical experts; it’s become an infrastructure like electricity or Wi-Fi. Within AI LAB, we’ve created a curriculum that addresses critical topics—from AI-driven business needs in marketing, sales, and customer service, to use cases, ethical concerns, risk and security, data modeling, AI model development, generative AI, and synthetic data. We’ve designed 10 academic-strengthened, hands-on training modules with a focus on business outcomes. We will share insights and practical tips on leveraging AI technologies to ensure sustainable business success in areas like marketing, product management, e-commerce, post-sales services, capability development, ecosystem management, and even the setup of internal AI factories.”
