Startups Can Enter Global Markets Faster and More Effectively

Stating that ITU ARI Teknokent participated in CES 2026 together with 32 startups and companies supported through different ITU ARI Teknokent programs, PROF. ATTILA DIKBAS, CEO of ITU ARI Teknokent, said:

“In line with our 2026 strategic plan, we provide a multidimensional support model to help our startups scale globally, attract investment, and achieve sustainable growth. This model not only positions startups on high-impact local and international platforms, but also enables access to target markets, the development of strategic partnerships, and direct engagement with investors.

We see global fairs such as CES not merely as visibility opportunities, but as highly valuable platforms for strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, access to funding, and technology showcasing. In the coming period, through global events, programs, and discovery camps, we will continue to increase the number of international success success stories, further strengthen our technology ecosystem, and enhance Türkiye’s global competitiveness.

We congratulate all our entrepreneurs who contributed to this success and extend our thanks to the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, to Mustafa Varank, Member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and former Minister of Industry and Technology, who visited our startups at their booths and received detailed information about their technologies, to Muhammet Kasım Gönüllü, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, to Dr. İsmail İlhan Hatipoğlu, Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance, as well as to the Istanbul Development Agency, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Automotive Exporters’ Association, and all our ecosystem stakeholders for their support during the CES 2026 process.”

Expanding Its Global Journey into New Markets in 2026

“We have elevated our globalization vision to a new level in recent years. In 2026, we are expanding this roadmap further by positioning our startups in new markets,” said PROF. ATTILA DIKBAS, sharing the international programs in which startups will take part throughout the year.

Accordingly, startups will engage directly with investors, customers, and business partners through programs and events to be held in the Netherlands in April; Germany and the United Arab Emirates between May and August; Hungary in June; the United Kingdom in September; France in October; and the United States in December. These activities will accelerate market entry processes and make them more effective.

Dikbas also emphasized that the venture capital investment fund established with Maxis, with a target size of USD 25 million, offers not only financial resources but also knowledge, strategic guidance, and international networks. The objective, he stated, is to position technology startups originating from Türkiye on a global scale and to build an ecosystem that attracts strong investor interest.

He further noted that EU-funded projects such as MIDAS, SEEDBridge, and FAIR FASHION are progressing without interruption, and that through new applications, ITU ARI Teknokent aims to expand its impact across Europe, secure a larger share of international funding, and accelerate startups’ access to resources.
